I have been a clinical and school psychologist for more than 20 years. I’ve worked in public and private school settings, collaborating with teachers and administrators, as well as meeting with children and their families. All these experiences have enabled me to see issues affecting school-age children from multiple perspectives. My private practice broadly serves children and adults, where I provide individual, couples, and family therapy. I also consult with parents around issues that can affect their children's K-12 school journeys.
And to share my expertise with groups, I offer workshops addressing a range of topics. Additionally, for 15 years I had the unique opportunity to be a consultant to the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles and the clinical coordinator of the team’s Rookie Success Program.
I have a monthly a blog in Psychology Today for parents and teachers, in which I share what I have learned from my work with teachers, administrators, and students to help children be more successful in school. My posts cover situations that can occur Pre-K through 12, and how caregivers might best address them.
